As Artistic Associate of the Adelaide Festival, under the Festival Direction of Neil Armfield and Rachel Healy, Gill instigated the Riverbank Palais as a new festival hub between 2017 to 2020. As a purpose built music and food venue on the River Torrens in the centre of Adelaide, the Palais was a place for nightly concerts, lively breakfast debates and the infamous Long Lunches, directed by Gill and featuring some of Australia’s best chefs.
