Returning for the third year as Festival Director, Vivid Sydney 2024 was themed 'Humanity' and saw the longest Light Walk in the festival’s history at 8.5km around Sydney’s harbour and CBD. Vivid Food increased in size and diversity and the Fire Kitchen gained popularity plating up BBQ from around the globe. Archie Roach was celebrated in a new show for Vivid Music, Tekno Train by Paul Mac delighted audiences with a light and soundscape on a Sydney train and Amy Pohler joined the program for Vivid Ideas at the Sydney Opera House.
