The fourth and final year as Festival Director for the unmissable Vivid Sydney. Under the creative concept of 'Dream' the festival increased its impact into new parts of Sydney’s CBD. Nigella Lawson curated and hosted three sell out Vivid Sydney dinners, directed by Gill in the Muru Giligu tunnel underneath Martin Place, the late great Australian artist and activist David McDiarmid was featured on the Sydney Opera House Sails, fashion designers Romance Was Born were celebrated in a projection on Customs House and Vivid Sings brought choirs and audiences together in a giant free singalong at Tumbalong Park. Martha Stewart, Megan Mullaly and Nick Offerman headlined Vivid Ideas and the festival collaborated with Bangarra Dance Theatre for a projection in Barangaroo.
